After listening to Samir speak at the candidates forum and a Zoom meet & greet, and reading his and the other candidates' platforms, I think he is a fantastic choice. I appreciate his thoughtfulness and his desire to work collaboratively with the other council members, as well as with other city organizations. In addition to his financial background, I think his experience as a former school board member, environmental commission member and zoning board member in his previous home give him such a well-rounded perspective and ability to see many sides of an issue. Samir would be a great addition to our Dublin city council.
We are Samir’s neighbors and have known him and his family for many years. I am a civil engineer by profession and understand very well the importance of a safe and efficient transportation system. Dublin has seen a tremendous growth in the past few years; however the infrastructure has not kept up with this growth. I strongly support Samir for his desire to find solutions that will improve our traffic situation through considering adaptive signal technology, evaluations of road expansions, traffic safety, and a variety of different solutions to improve infrastructure.
Samir is a very honest and ethical person. He will fight for you and will work hard to give his best to Dublin!

Election day is Tuesday, November 3, 2020 and polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Every registered voter will receive a vote-by-mail ballot and there is no cost to return by mail.
You may also drop your vote-by-mail ballot at the Vote By Mail drop box located at Dublin City Office (City Hall), 100 Civic Plaza in Dublin.
